Joe Kleid, CDP

Joe is a Christian, a husband, and a life-long advocate for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia.  As a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a former National Director with one of the nation's leading memory care providers, he currently serves on the board of an Alzheimer's non-profit, The Laona M. Kitchen Foundation.

Joe has worked specifically with families with Alzheimer's throughout his career, and he will tell you that he has "over 30 years of Senior Living Experience" as his grandmother, Ruth, came to live with his family when he was a small child. (She later developed dementia and Alzheimer's, during his early teens.  Joe was one of her caregivers along with his mother and other family members). Her passing and influence on his life propelled him into working with other seniors and families who have been afflicted by Alzheimer's and dementia.
